Get to know our 2017 AAAE Interns!

What school do you go to? Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Go Dawgs!

Major: Aviation Management, Minors in Business Management and Airport Management & Planning

Year: Senior!! Graduating in December 2017.

What do you hope to gain from your AAAE internship? I hope to make long-lasting connections in the airport industry, as well as the DC area. The friendships that I come out with will likely come back when I least expect it.

Career Aspiration? I hope to become an airport manager of a Top 20 airport. Going back to Boston Logan (my hometown airport) would be a great opportunity, but the West coast has always had a certain attraction.

Favorite Airport Code? KBOS

Dream Destination? Living right under the approach path of KBOS has made it desirable since day one. While it has no space to work with (like many airports located on the water), the people and connections I have there have been nothing but kind to me and I hope to join the team some day!
