AAAE Scholarship Info

Thank you for your interest in the AAAE Scholarship Programs.

AAAE offers the following scholarships through the AAAE Foundation. The scholarships are offered to full-time undergraduate or graduate students who are attending accredited colleges or universities. The specific requirements for each scholarship are listed below.

A.A.E. Scholarship

Awards ranging from $900 to $4,000 are offered to Accredited Airport Executives (A.A.E.s), their spouses, and their children. Scholarship recipients can be enrolled in any course of study, and all eligible applicants receive scholarships so long as funds are available.  Accredited members are sent information on the program annually in early January and awards are made in July.

AAAE Foundation Scholarship Endorsed By An A.A.E.

As recommended  by the Accreditation Value Task Force, the AAAE Foundation offers scholarships to qualified college students who do not have to be a dependent of an Accredited Airport Executive (A.A.E.).  The "Competitive Non-A.A.E. Scholarships" are for $1,000 each with a maximum of $4,000 over four years.  These additional grants were initiated as a way to broaden the eligibility of the scholarship program to a wider range of family members, such as grandchildren, and also provide opportunities for single active A.A.E.s who do not have dependents to recommend for scholarships.  Dependents of Executive Emeritus and Honorary Life Members are also eligible for these scholarships, which are awarded based on financial need.  Accredited members are sent information on the program annually in early January and awards are made in July.
