IAAE Launches Global Flight 2010 Synergy in Aviation Campaign

For Immediate Release
January 11, 2010

Alexandria, Va. -- The International Association of Airport Executives (IAAE), an affiliate of the American Association of Airport Executives, is pleased to announce the launch of the Global Flight 2010 Synergy in Aviation campaign. Global Flight is aimed strengthening global aviation through building new partnerships.

IAAE has a long-standing history with foreign governments, transportation ministries and civil aviation authorities. In addition to producing 60-plus aviation forums, conferences and symposiums worldwide, IAAE also has partnered with the U.S. Trade and Development Agency and the U.S Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to produce series of international meetings between U.S. aviation officials and their counterparts from both China and India. IAAE also recently produced an airport certification program in Accra, Ghana in partnership with the U.S. Department of Transportation, FAA and Safe Skies for Africa.

“As the global economy rebounds strengthening existing cross-border partnerships and forming new ones will help aviation serve the growing demand for passenger and cargo services,” said IAAE Senior Executive Vice President Spencer Dickerson. “Reaching out to the nearly 1,200 consulates and trade missions in 134 U.S. cities and the 174 resident embassies in Washington D.C., is a natural fit for IAAE as we move to enhance these partnerships.”

IAAE specializes in providing professional accreditation, international training, business and partner-matching, expert panels and conferences.
