Gunnison Crested Butte (Colo.) Regional Airport is now soliciting statements of qualifications and experience until 5 p.m. MST Feb. 1 from professional airport consulting firms to provide airport planning services. Selection will be based on an evaluation of factors, including aviation planning experience, local knowledge of the region, ability to present to a public forum, reputation, background capacity to meet schedules and budgets, quality of previous airport projects undertaken, familiarity with the airport, as well as Gunnison County and degree of interest shown. The city of San Antonio, Aviation Department and Capital Improvements Management Services, seeks statements of qualifications from general contractors interested in providing pre-construction and construction phase services by way of a construction manager at risk delivery method for a consolidated rental car (CONRAC) facility/other landside facilities (Project No. CIMS010213CG) that will provide ground/air transportation interface and include consolidated rental car facilities, public parking and related infrastructure for San Antonio International Airport. Harrisburg (Pa.) International Airport (owned and operated by the Susquehanna Area Regional Airport Authority), has issued a request for qualifications (RFQ) to qualified firms to provide aviation consulting services in connection with upcoming airline lease negotiations. The services will include preparing for negotiations, preparing financial projections addressing the financial effect of SARAA operations and capital programs on airline rates and airline cost per enplaned passenger, advising SARAA management on a range of business issues pertaining to the airline-airport business relationship, assisting in drafting a new airline use and lease agreement, and assisting in the conduct of the lease negotiations. The successful respondent (or respondent team) will be selected by SARAA as a result of this process. The Tri Cities Airport Authority is soliciting statements of qualifications from interested engineering/architectural/consulting firms to provide professional services to include developing plans and specifications and construction administration monitoring in various airport related projects. The Jackson County Airport Authority, Medford, Ore., is accepting letters of interest (LOI) from interested parties for the long-term lease of vacant land at Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport located on the SE corner of Biddle and Lawnsdale Roads (no street address assigned). The land is approximately two acres, with direct public access off Lawnsdale Road. A 2010 city of Medford traffic study documented an average of 531,000 vehicles per month on Biddle and 210,000 vehicles per month on Lawnsdale. This land may be developed as a gas station/convenience store or other airport-compatible business. This prime property would be the nearest and most convenient location for rental car fill up prior to return. Average daily car rental activity is approximately 388 vehicles.
