Meadows Field Airport (BFL) is soliciting statements of interest for lease of flight training complex located at BFL, to operate a flight training facility. This is not a request for proposals. Any questions, dialogue, communication or submission of information, as a response to this RSI, does not constitute a commitment, contract, or partnership with the airport. The County of Kern (Calif.) accepts no liability for any costs incurred by interested parties to prepare and submit responses to this request. Meadows Field Airport (BFL) is soliciting letters of interest from companies to operate on-airport non-exclusive rental car concessions at the William M. Thomas Terminal in Bakersfield, California. BFL requires the respondents to possess knowledge, experience, skill and personnel necessary to operate a first-class rental car concession and include the abilities to, (i) operate a national credit card payment system, (ii) operate a national reservations system, (iii) operate a fleet of automobiles adequate to provide efficient and courteous car rental service, in which all automobiles are current models or models of the immediately preceding year, and (iv) be willing and able to commit to a minimum annual guarantee (MAG) fee of not less than $120,000 per annum for the privilege of operating at BFL.
