Airport Operations

Below is a list of our current Airport Operations training programs.  These programs are designed for operations personnel at airports ranging from small to large-hub.

Airport Certified Employee (ACE) - Airfield Lighting Maintenance 

This review course is specifically designed for airfield lighting maintenance personnel that work at the airport to improve the reliability of airport lighting and visual aid systems that are vital to aircraft safety on the airport surfaces.  Airport employees that complete this course will receive a certificate of recognition as an Airport Certified Employee of Airfield Lighting Maintenance.

 

Airport Certified Employee (ACE) - Communications

This review course is intended for aviation personnel who work directly in airport communication hubs and dispatch centers.  Airport employees that complete this course will receive a certificate of recognition as an Airport Certified Employee of Communications.
 

Airport Certified Employee (ACE) - Operations

The Operations program is a Part 139-based curriculum designed to educate and challenge airport personnel with airfield operations responsibilities.  Airport employees who complete this course will receive a certificate of recognition as an Airport Certified Employee of Operations. 
 

Basic Airport Safety and Operations Specialist School (ASOS)

The Basic ASOS is designed for entry-level airport personnel who are new to airport operations.  This course is a must for personnel who want to gain a better understanding of the day-to-day operations of the airport.
 

Advanced Airport Safety and Operations Specialist School (ASOS)

The Advanced ASOS is designed as a follow-up to the basic course.  Modeled after Harvard's Executive Management Program, this course provides a proactive environment for problem solving and role playing as well as addressing current issues in Airport Safety, Security, Runway Incursions, Airfield Marking/Signs/Lighting, Airport Design and other airport related issues. 
 

Airport Driver Training & Runway Incursion

This course explains driving procedures and all road markings and signs on ramps/aprons, perimeter roads, runways and taxiways.  The course also covers radio communication procedures, foreign object debris (FOD), and other driving-related topics.
