2021—Another COVID-19 Year in Review
As we move to 2022, we look back to 2021: how the U.S. economy and aviation industry continued to navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic, now well into its fourth wave. Again, the resilience of the U.S. economy, airlines, and airports has been tested and proven. The U.S. economy has recovered its pre-COVID GDP in the second quarter; total U.S. airport enplanements have recovered to nearly three-quarters of 2019 level in June; and air cargo carried by U.S. airlines, boosted during the pandemic, has continued to grow. Airports have begun to put their CIPs back on track.
Join industry colleagues in discussing challenges and accomplishments in planning, financing, and implementing airport capital improvement programs in 2021. The AAAE/Unison Consulting, Inc., CIP Planning and Finance Virtual Workshop is recognized as one of the industry’s most important workshops.
