As pressure to develop alternative revenue sources while ensuring a high level of customer service mounts, airports are increasingly looking at the option of owning and operating the airport’s fixed base operation. The FBO Management Workshop will review the issues that are leading to this shift. This workshop will outline the decision making process for those airports considering this option. It will do so by presenting the case studies of those airports that came to that decision. The discussion will cover the pros and cons of both options to help you determine what makes the most sense for your airport.
Learn from those airports that decided to branch out to this ownership model as they talk about the process of switching from a managed FBO to ownership. Workshop sessions will include participation by airports that have made the switch to provide attendees with insights into the benefits and potential drawbacks of providing services as the airport operator.
