Rodrigo Tavares is Salvador Bahia Airport environment manager and Belgrade Airport environment technical consultant, both powered by VINCI Airports. Tavares also is director of the Master in Sustainable Air Transport Management (MATSM) at ITAérea. The project he led was responsible for the Salvador Bahia Airport being named the most sustainable airport in Brazil by the Brazilian Infrastructure Ministry and by the Brazilian Nacional Civil Aviation Agency. The project also led to the airport becoming the first in Brazil to be zero waste to landfill, zero effluent discharge and to supply the terminal with solar energy.

Before joining the airport sector, Rodrigo had over seven years of experience in the beverage and automobile industries, where he implemented the business unit mindset at the Environment Management System, developed projects to reduce the industries' environment footprint and headed the project to develop the first vehicle plant zero landfill in Brazil.

This course will provide two credits in the AAAE Continuing Airport Management Education Unit (CEU) program for Accredited Airport Executives (A.A.E.'s). 


Registrations, cancellations and refund requests must be submitted in writing. All cancellation requests for registrations received on or before Wednesday, March 3, 2021, are subject to a $50 cancellation processing fee; approved refunds will be processed after the meeting takes place. There will be no refunds of any kind after this date. Cancellations with outstanding invoices received within two weeks of the start of the conference, will require full payment on the balance due. Refunds will not be provided, and balance dues will not be forgiven for no-shows. Substitutions within the same webinar will be accepted without penalties. The difference between member and non-member price will be charged if a non-member replaces a member.
