Find out what’s in store and how to implement a solid plan in this four-part webinar series. Each webinar will consist of three 50-minute sessions and two 15-minute breaks. Can't participate live? Register and we'll provide you with access to the webinar recordings!

Webinar series objective: To help participants understand the new requirements of GASB Statement 87 and learn to effectively implement them.

Here’s the schedule:

Session 1: GASB 87: What It's All About - you’ll hear from GASB staff members Deborah Beams and Hollis Hanson-Pollock about the changes coming in the new GASB Statement 87, and also learn about qualification on regulated leases from an airport finance professional.

Session 2: GASB 87: Audit Impact and Practical Application – Join us for a “behind the scenes” look at GASB 87 implementation from an auditor’s perspective, and common lease examples facing airports with specifics on how to properly account for these leases.

Session 3: GASB 87:  Next Steps for Your Finance Team – This session will cover how to create your implementation plan; a practical plan to capturing, organizing, and maintaining your data; and tools to leverage your efforts.

Session 4: GASB 87:  What Do You Still Need to Know? – Hear about real-life experiences and perspectives from airport finance professionals; review the key concepts you need to be aware of; have your questions answered by our panel of experts; and hear final thoughts and take-aways from these experts.
