For more than thirty years, your generosity has have helped the AAAE Foundation provide more than $5 million in scholarships to over 3,000 students. Every penny of your contribution goes to the recipients; AAAE covers all administrative costs.

A.A.E. Scholarship

Supports active A.A.E.s who are full-time employees at public-use airports, their spouses and children.

Endorsed by an A.A.E. Scholarship

Allows A.A.E.s who have not, do not or will not have dependents to utilize the A.A.E. Scholarship to recommend up to three undergraduate students per year for the Endorsed by an A.A.E. Scholarship.

Aviation Management Scholarship (formerly the AAAE Foundation Scholarship)

Supports students with a junior class standing or higher, including graduate students, who are enrolled in an aviation program and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. 

Native American Scholarship

Supports Native American students with a junior class standing or higher, including graduate students, who are enrolled in an aviation program and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Women in Aviation Scholarship (general fund)

Supports female students with a junior class standing or higher, including graduate students, who are enrolled in an aviation program and have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. 

William Robert Hauptli Scholarship for Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Awards individual AAAE members (Executive or Affiliate) enrolled or planning to enroll in a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Executive MBA or in certain Executive Educations programs focusing on innovation and/entrepreneurship at select institutions. 

Women in Aviation Luncheon Honoring Jane Garvey

The goal of the 2020 Women in Aviation Luncheon is to raise enough funds to permanently endow a seventh Women in Aviation Scholarship, honoring Jane Garvey.

  • Support Future Aviation Industry Leaders - Did you know that the majority of the AAAE Foundation's scholarship programs do not require AAAE membership for eligibility? The Foundation offers four scholarship programs dedicated to advancing education in the aviation profession.  Today’s scholarship recipient could be tomorrow’s airport director or the CEO of an airport consultant, partner or vendor!
  • Tax Deductions - Donations to the AAAE Foundation are tax deductible under IRS rules, providing a tax break for you or your organization.
