The Academic Relations Committee is planning the following program for students who attend the 92nd Annual AAAE Conference & Exposition in Denver.

Sunday, May 10
8:30 am - 9:45 am AAAE Regional Chapter Meetings
(Students are encouraged to attend a meeting of their choice)
   
10:15 am - 11:45 am Welcome and Education Session:  What Are Employers Looking For?
(All delegates welcome)

A meet and greet refreshment break for our Mentors and Academic/Student Chapter Mentees.  Mentors and Mentees will be matched to network and collaborate throughout the conference.
   
 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm Student/YoPro Mixer
Social mixer for academic members and young professionals. Invite only. Light hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be provided. Must be 21 to consume alcoholic beverages.
   
Monday, May 11
8:30 am - 10:00 am Student Chapter Forum
Opportunity for students to talk in an open forum about their Chapter’s activities, as well as discuss common interests and challenges in an academic environment. (For Student Chapter and Academic Members)

Faculty Advisor/Student Chapter Liaison Workshop
Opportunity for Student Chapter Faculty Advisors and Liaisons to learn what their colleagues are doing to promote participation in their respective AAAE Student Chapters, and to discuss methods for ensuring the growth of aviation programs in academia.
(For Student Chapter Faculty Advisors and Chapter Liaisons)
   
12:00 pm - 2:00 pm Student Research Project Displays
This contest is designed for Academic members to showcase a research or capstone project that they have developed to airport executives. Cash prizes will be awarded for the top three projects. Student research projects will be displayed in a designated area of the Exhibit Hall.
   
2:15 pm - 3:00 pm Mixer with the Mentors
A high energy "speed dating" session where Airport Professionals/Mentors share their knowledge and experience with future aviation leaders.
   
Tuesday, May 12
8:30 am - 10:30 am

Student Career Fair Part I – Networking Session
Career exploration session where students interested in future
employment and/or internship opportunities can network with airports, consultants, and service companies. Some organizations may be interviewing at the conference. Others may just be there for informational purposes.

   
12:00 pm - 5:00 pm AAAE Student Career Part II – Employment Interviews
Prospective employers may schedule follow-up interviews/discussions with selected students based on the provided resume book and part I of Career Fair. These interviews can be scheduled on-site on Tuesday or Wednesday or for a later date at their convenience.
   
Wednesday,May 13  
9:00 am - 12:30 pm AAAE Student Career Part II – Employment Interviews
Prospective employers may schedule follow-up interviews/discussions with selected students based on the provided resume book and part I of Career Fair. These interviews can be scheduled on-site on Tuesday or Wednesday or for a later date at their convenience.
