AAAE Women in Aviation Scholarship Luncheon

In 2016, AAAE established the Women in Aviation Scholarship Program, to be given each year to a female college or university undergraduate student with a junior class standing or higher or a graduate student, who is enrolled in an aviation program and has a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Eligibility is unrelated to membership in AAAE.

On Wednesday, May 2, 2018, the AAAE Foundation will hold its second annual Women in Aviation Scholarship Luncheon.

The proceeds from the luncheon will allow the AAAE Foundation to expand the Women in Aviation scholarship program. Stay tuned for more information.

On April 5, 2017, the AAAE Foundation held the Inaugural Women in Aviation Scholarship Luncheon honoring Linda Hall Daschle, in recognition of her 35-year career devoted to aviation, in addition to her strong support of the AAAE Foundation and its scholarship programs.  Industry partners, AAAE members and staff sponsored, contributed and attended the event. The success of the event allowed the AAAE Foundation to introduce a second Women in Aviation scholarship in the amount of $5,000, which was named after Linda.
