Senior | University of Texas - Dallas

My senior year is going to be full of late nights and early mornings nut smiles all the way. I have a lot on my plate with a combination of school, hobbies, and work. I do my best to limit stress as worrying doesn’t help anything but whether or not a person has financial stability is a different beast. The American Association of Airport Executives is giving me one less thing to worry about. Everyone can use all the help they can get and this allows me to focus more freely on what I enjoy. My Undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering will be completed in May, 2018 and I completed a minor in Physics this past semester. I am lucky to be able to lead my Robotics Club as President this final year and play on the Men’s Club Soccer Team. At the same time I am starting a job at Lintec Nanoscience and Technology Laboratory while officiating club and high school soccer in the area on the weekends. Graduate school follows all of this where, if I am accepted, I plan to study Materials Science and Engineering with my research being in Nanomaterials. Hopefully I can use this to contribute to the space industry at a national lab or an aerospace company. Throughout this journey I will learn a lot and have a lot of laughs but every cent counts to get me each step of the way. Thank you AAAE!
