In the continual effort to present affordable airport training programs, the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) OnSite Training Department
is pleased to present the ACE Airfield Lighting Maintenance Review Course to be held May 6-9, 2019 at the Oakland International Airport
The ACE-Airfield Lighting Maintenance program is an extensive curriculum based on FAA, U.S. military and international recommendations. The course is designed to provide detailed electrical theory and proven maintenance techniques while educating and challenging airport personnel with airfield lighting maintenance responsibilities. It is highly recommended that students study the course materials before attending. There is a 100-question examination that must be passed in order to receive ACE certification; however students are not required to take the exam.
Individuals who wish to register for this training course and wish to take the exam on the last day of class to potentially earn the ACE designation must be enrolled into the ACE-Lighting program. Upon registration, candidates will receive a welcome email to the course with detailed information about training location and logistics. Candidates will also receive a PDF format of the course materials via email. Upon arrival to class, candidates will receive hard copy modules and a workbook. It is encouraged that candidates who attend this review course thoroughly review the ACE-Lighting modules prior to the first day of the course.
