Airport Safety and Emergency Management are important components of passenger welfare and well-being.  Architectural practice is legally grounded in the provision of health, safety, and welfare to the public, but, aspires to do so while promoting beauty, function, and delight. Topics will include strategies to enhance public and employee safety, intuitive wayfinding, accessibility of emergency communication, evacuation routes, areas of refuge, and more –  all while creating a positive passenger experience.
