The Randy Jones Award for Excellence in Airport Noise Mitigation, Abatement and Management
The late Randolph Jones, FAIA AICP was known in the airport noise mitigation industry as a leader and innovator. Those that had the opportunity to interact with Randy knew him as a gentleman and gifted professional who helped shape the noise mitigation industry that exists today. The Randy Jones Award for Excellence in Airport Noise Mitigation annually recognizes an individual, organization or program that has made a significant contribution to the industry. Since 2016, with the expansion of the conference and partnership between AAAE and ACI-NA, the Randy Jones Award has also been expanded to include recognition of broader noise abatement and management criteria.
Anyone can nominate an individual, organization or program for the award. Nominations for the annual award will be received by the AAAE/ACI-NA Airport Noise Conference planning committee through June 28, 2019. The Planning Committee will evaluate all of the nominees against the evaluation criteria and make a recommendation for a selection for the award. The award will be presented at the AAAE/ACI-NA Airport Noise Conference during lunch on Tuesday, October 29, 2019. Thank you to The Jones Payne Group for sponsoring this luncheon!
