Workforce of the Future: Why Diversity Matters
The majority has become the minority in the United States. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, as of 2014, over 50% of all children under the age of 5 years old were considered a minority. This is the workforce of our future. So how can airports prepare to meet this challenge of a minority as majority workforce? Join us for a town hall forum with other AAAE members and airport executives, as well as diversity experts and university representatives, to discuss what a diverse workforce means, why diversity is important, how to start planning for the future and why the future is now with regard to airport diversity programs.
