The delivery method is group-live and the program level is basic. No prerequisites and/or advance preparation is required. The PFC Workshop will provide training equivalent to four hours of CPE credits and is worth four credits in the AAAE Continuing Airport Management Education Unit (CEU) program. The Rates and Charges Workshop will provide training equivalent to eight hours of CPE credits and is worth eight credits in the AAAE Continuing Airport Management Education Unit (CEU) program.
AAAE retains records for 5 years for these workshops. These records include: Program outline/materials, records of participation, date and location of presentations, number of credits earned by participants, results of program evaluation, instructors, discussion leaders or program authors names and credentials.
The American Association of Airport Executives is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education (CPE) for Group Live Delivery on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org. Due to COVID-19 and the inability to provide Group Live courses at this time, many states are providing flexibility through December 31, 2020, in the instructional delivery method of CPE programs. To determine whether your state provided guidance regarding flexibility, please view the list of states under “Group Live Providers”. A number of states not on the list do not require pre-approval of courses for CPEs. If your state is not on this list, or if you have specific questions, please reach out to your state board of accountancy directly to confirm eligibility of this course for CPEs.
Registrations, cancellations and refund requests must be submitted in writing. All cancellation requests for registrations received on or before Wednesday, September 2, 2020, are subject to a $50 cancellation processing fee; approved refunds will be processed after the meeting takes place. There will be no refunds of any kind after this date. Cancellations with outstanding invoices received within two weeks of the start of the conference, will require full payment on the balance due. Refunds will not be provided, and balance dues will not be forgiven for no-shows. Substitutions within the same conference will be accepted without penalties. The difference between member and non-member price will be charged if a non-member replaces a member. Substitutions will be accepted with a written request to AAAEmeetings@aaae.org. The individual substituting for the original registrant is responsible for all financial obligations (balance due; difference in fees due to membership type) associated with that substitution. By submitting a completed registration, you acknowledge that you have read and understand the cancellation policy.
AAAE reserves the right to postpone or cancel an event if the number of registrants is insufficient; due to acts of God; or any other reason beyond AAAE’s control. In this event, we will notify all registrants and credit the full registration fee towards another AAAE meeting, product or service. However, any costs incurred by the registrant, such as hotel cancellation or airline penalties, are the responsibility of the registrant. Confirmation letters will be emailed to attendees within two weeks of receipt of registration. However, if you have not received a confirmation email two business days prior to the meeting, and you enrolled at least two weeks prior to the meeting, please contact the AAAE Meetings Department at 703.824.0504 or AAAEmeetings@aaae.org. Please note failure to receive a confirmation letter before an event will not be grounds for a refund.
