American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), the International Association of Airport Executives (IAAE) and Isavia (Operator of Keflavik International Airport) are very pleased to present the North America/Europe Airport Best Practices Conference, which will be held May 24-26, 2017, at the Hilton Hotel in beautiful Reykjavik, Iceland.
Airport and aviation executives from Iceland, North America and Europe will discuss best practices in several key areas, including: airport/tourism partnerships, enhancing the passenger experience, safety/security initiatives, increasing non-aeronautical revenue and green/sustainability initiatives. Conference attendees will have the opportunity to hear how airports in Iceland, North America and Europe are handling current challenges and to discover new strategies for improving airport operations and performance.
This unique forum will allow senior airport/aviation executives, government and corporate executives from North America and throughout Europe to network and to discuss the current challenges and opportunities associated with operating airports in today’s dynamic environment worldwide. Representatives from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration, International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the International Air Transport Association (IATA), and other aviation organizations have been invited to participate. Attendee participation is highly encouraged, as the intent of these sessions is to provide a forum for exchange of best practices. The broad array of panel discussions will surely have a topic of interest to suit attendees from across the aviation industry.
The conference will begin with an evening reception on Wednesday, May 24, and conclude at 12:30 on Friday, May 26.
