The American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) and the International Association of Airport Executives (IAAE) are pleased to present the 22nd Annual North America/Central Europe Airport Issues Conference, to be held October 24-26, 2017, at the Continental Hotel Budapest. This meeting is hosted by Budapest Airport.
Many innovative efforts are underway to improve airport operations and security in both the United States and Europe. Too frequently, decision-makers and others are not aware of the latest solutions from outside of their region. This program is designed to promote the adoption of best practice and leading-edge technologies in the United States and Europe. The workshop will offer important and valuable networking opportunities for airport and aviation officials from North America and Central Europe to discuss and debate management and operational challenges facing the airport management profession. As in past years, key aviation officials from the United States and throughout the Central European region will participate in the conference, including representatives from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic and the Ukraine. In addition, U.S. Commercial Service officers from U.S. embassies throughout the region will attend.
Thought-leaders and innovators from the private sector will showcase solutions developed and implemented across the USA and Europe.
All sessions will take place at the Continental Hotel Budapest. The conference will begin with an opening reception at 18:30 at the Continental Hotel Budapest on Tuesday, October 24 (registration will open at 18:00), and conclude at 12:45 on Thursday, October 26. The registration fee includes all speaker presentations, the opening reception, one luncheon, all refreshment breaks and the official conference dinner. Breakfast is included in the hotel room rate.
